So long to the cabin

A few weeks ago Justin and I took a trip up to his family cabin. We went to get away from life's stress and enjoy some peace and quiet. Little did we know that it would be our last time there. His family has had the cabin since the boys were in their early teans, spending weeks and weekends fishing, swimming, hiking and relaxing next to the fire. Justin and I, along with some of our friends, have had the blessing of being able to excape to the hide-away over the past few years. But, all good things come to an end. The cabin is being sold so that some other family (and their friends) can create the memories that so many of us have there. here are just a few pictures from our past two stays there.

What we know for sure is that we're having one stinkin' cute baby!

Here is Baby at 20 weeks! Look at that profile! What a cutie. We just had our ultrasound this Monday. Boy this little thing was dancing all around mommy's tummy. We got to see all the vital organs, Baby's little feet and hands, big belly and of course that cute nose:)
Baby only weighs 13oz right now but growing rapidly. I feel as though my belly busted out of my body this past week. And isn't it funny that Baby is only 13oz yet mommy has gained 10x that amount.......something isn't right with that! Ahhh it's all good pudge! I love it!

Visit from Family (19 weeks)

My Brother and sister-in-law came to vist Justin and I for Labor Day weekend. They just moved out to the West Coast a few weeks ago....it's nice to have some of my family close:)
Here we all are after Lunch on Sunday. I chose this pic b/c us girls look the best in this one and the guys....what's with those smug faces???? Goofballs!
We went to the coast over the weekend for a day at the beach. Here Nick is acting as "dog keeper" (Left to Right---Cody,Cooper,Nick, Trillion). 2 couples, 3 dogs, one jeep.....too much luggage!!!!

Of course we had to do a little evening shopping. Mom, this one's for you! These are your children! Aren't you proud???

Ok Ok I'll get to the point

WE'RE PREGNANT!!!!!

I was trying to make this blog a story of our past two years together but enough of you are showing a lack of patience so I decided to skip on through to the good stuff (the pictures from the past are way better though!).

There's a little baby growin in our house! This is the first grandchild for my side and the 3rd 3rd for Justin's. Pretty exciting stuff.

Here I am in our Kitchen at 14 weeks. I just started popping out a little so I had to show it off for the camera:)

Here I am at 17 weeks. Growin Growin Growin....in more places than just the belly (boohoohoo!).

Things have been going very well. No complications, not too much sickness, baby is growing at the right speed and mama is tired as ever (unfortunately that is normal for pregnancy so I have to count it as a good thing).

We're starting to get as much preparation done as we possibly can (and as well as first time parents can).

IMPORTANT FACTS......

***WE ARE NOT FINDING OUT THE SEX OF THE BABY SO NO ASKING!!!!! AND NO TRYING TO CHANGE OUR MINDS!!!! We decided that for the first one we want the suprise (actually I begged and pleaded for this and Justin gave in...hehehe the power of a pregnant wife!)
