The Chair and SNOW!!!!!!

A quick update from this past week. Justin and the boys took some time out to work on our rocking chair. The squeaks are gone but it needs a good sanding and staining. Doesn't look like the boys are much help to Justin huh!

IT SNOWED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It never snows here.....This was yesterday. We woke up to a winter wonderland. Only 2 inches but that was enough to call it a blizzard here. Sounds funny when I think of the snow back in the midwest.

We took some time out to play in our yard with the boys. They love the snow and I loved throwing it at them. However, it took quite a lot of effort to actually bend down and pick it up!

These may be my last pictures of the belly. We'll see. Baby could arrive anyday now.....I'm hoping. But, in reality it may be a few more weeks. We never know these things. Be watching.......I sure hope it's soon, my clothes aren't fitting anymore:)

 

Catch-up on December

Hi All, sorry it's been so long since an update. Time has flown and with the holidays and now being out on maternity leave time has gotten away from me. I realized that after spending 2+ years in front of a computer at work has made me dislike using one in my home life. I've been done with work for 2 weeks now and I'm finally getting the ambition to get back on the keyboard.So, as a December recap of how we're doing and how the belly is growing (BIG) ....here we go.
Decorating the mini Christmas tree this year was pretty fun. Jusitn put it up and we all (the boys too!) helped decorate. Cooper really wanted to get a taste of this ornament this year. mmmmmmm good!
I was blessed with a few baby showers this month from friends, work and church. It was a wonderful time of being with friends, getting parenting advice and being loaded up on the necessities for Baby's arrival. Here I am ready to dart off to one shower....with my belly filling out a shirt given to me at another shower. How fun it was....and this shirt still fits today!!! that's surprising:)
Here is our Christmas card photo in case you didn't get one in the mail. Yes, a green Christmas is what we get here in the valley. That's still a bit weird to me:) No Snow.....grrrrr!
